An Elephant NEVER forgets...

I created this card to help celebrate a dear friend's birthday.  The grass die, really adds a lot to any card creation, and it is one of my favorite embellishments.

Happy Mother's Day!

Have I told you how much I love this stamp set?  Why yes I have!  And I am going to show you again why I love it so.  It is one of my favorites because you can do so much with it.  You can keep it simple like I did with this Mother's Day card...

........or color the image like my friend Lori did here.  

For my card, I stamped the image in fern, and then because I wanted the image to stand out...added the glitter.  It just gives the card the glamour it needed.

Polka Dots!

Yes, polka dots.  A simple thing, but they can have a very powerful impact on a card.

A Muse Studio has a stamp set called "polka dot
patterns" and they are one of my favorite sets to
add visual interest to a card.  They certainly added
a lot to this one!

In creating this card I was going to stamp the
leaf on the side of the stem of the flower,
but decided that my Martha Stewart leaf punch
would balance out the weight of the
flower and button.

Simple dots.  Yep, that is the ticket...to a
really fun card!

Spectacular Birthday

Sometimes simple really is best.

I wanted a simple, graphic card to express
birthday greetings.  So I played around with
my paper and decided that having
this diagonal stripe was a great way
to showcase the image.

No more embellishments are needed.  The bright
watermelon cardstock, and the striking
image was all that was needed to make
this card really "pop".
